Meltdown is an annual youth conference that brings together students from all over Northwest Florida and South Alabama for a weekend that will draw them closer to God and to each other. Organized by a team of youth pastors and church workers, Meltdown’s mission is to empower youth groups and their churches by offering a dynamic, inspiring, and challenging worship experience brought through an awesome worship team, speaker, and through a variety of breakout sessions. This year our speaker is Joel Penton and worship will be led by the band Shake the City.
Where and When is Meltdown?
This year Meltdown will be Friday, January 29 - Sunday, January 31, 2016. Groups arrive between 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. on Friday and usually leave by 10 – 11 a.m. on Sunday morning. Meltdown is held at the Boardwalk Beach Resort, 9600 S Thomas Drive, Panama City Beach, FL 32408.
What do I need to bring to Meltdown?
Your students, yourself, and an open heart to hear from God! Also, students can bring some extra pocket money for t-shirts or CDs if they desire.
What About Food?
Meltdown will provide lunch and dinner on Saturday, however we are asking this year for youth groups to provide breakfast for their own groups on Saturday and Sunday morning. There are several ways you can do this cheaply and easily. Though lunch and dinner are provided on Saturday, there are many restaurant options as well on Panama City Beach if your group needed or wanted anything else.
How much does Meltdown Cost?
The Great Deal: $120 (if registered by Halloween)
The Good Deal: $130 (if registered by Christmas)
The Deal: $140 (if registered after Christmas)
