The Alabama-West Florida Conference WESLEY HEIRS will host their Spring Retreat "CELEBRATE LIFE, LOVE, AND LAUGHTER” March 8 – 10, 2016 at Blue Lake.  Registration begins Tuesday, March 8 at 10 am.

Rev. Dr. Cory Smith, Director of Connectional Ministries, will preach the Memorial Service.  

Five scholarships to attend the Spring meeting are available for anyone requiring financial assistance to attend.  Contact  Joyce or Gerald Maddox at (334) 585-5071 for these scholarships.  You may nominate someone for these scholarships.  Make sure they are aware and willing and have transportation.

Wesley Heirs who wish join each other on Monday evening, March 7, plan to either meet at the Gator Café in Baker, FL or go together from Blue Lake after  checking in.  This is great fun and fellowship.  Register with the Maddoxes.  Rooming for Monday night (March 7) is paid directly to Blue Lake ($30 per room).  You will be responsible for breakfast Tuesday morning (March 8).

Tuesday, March 8
10:00:  Registration
11:30:  Session I
A group picture will  be taken immediately after lunch on Tuesday.  We will announce location during lunch.  
3:00 pm:  Choir practice led by Mark Stewart.  Please join. and sing.

Wednesday, March 9
Prior to breakfast on the March 9, 2016, Holy Communion will be observed with Rev. and Mrs. John Bonner leading this service.

10:15 am:  Memorial Service with Rev. Smith.  Music for this service will be directed by the Rev. Mark Stewart, accompanied by Mrs. Judy Hust, with special presentation by the Wesley Heirs Choir.  The Recognition of Deaths will be conducted by the Rev. and Mrs. Charles Walker.  The offering received at the Memorial Service will be given to the Sunshine and Discovery Camps at Blue Lake.

2:00 pm:  Executive Committee meets in upstairs Conference Room.

Door prizes will be given out by Myrtice Carr during dinner.  Feel free to help out by bring one under $10.00.  If gender special, please so mark the wrappings.  

4:30 pm:  “What’s Happening” in the Annual Conference led by Rev. Smith

7:30 pm:  Singing and Sharing in the Chapel; Open Mike Time

7:45 pm:  Board Games and Fellowship in the Gathering Room with the snacks.
