ABIDE is a small church leadership initiative offered by Spiritual Leadership, Inc. (SLI), whose headquarters are in Lexington, Kentucky. ABIDE is based on the popular L3 Leadership Incubator program.
The purpose of ABIDE is to engender a widespread movement for the renewal of small churches that are:
ABIDE works best in congregations that average 50 or fewer in worship with a part-time or shared pastor and no substantial paid staff other than the pastor. Congregations in rural and urban settings are encouraged to consider participation. Congregations with full-time pastors also may participate.
